This translucent purple ornament with white frit represents artist Trenton Quiocho's Filipino heritage by incorporating the beautiful coloring of ube, a purple yam originating in the Phillippines, and his signature pineapple pattern.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Trenton Quiocho is a Tacoma, WA native who has been working with glass for over 15 years in various capacities. He has held positions as a glassblower, hot shop technician, and teaching artist with organizations including Chihuly Boathouse, Glassybaby, Hilltop Artists, and Museum of Glass. He also appeared as a contestant on the Netflix competition series, Blown Away.
