Large Lucky Spark Cup - Trust Soul

Regular price $30

This cup is a combination of two moments in my life. Sometime around 2015 I arrived at a studio I was renting in town and felt very uninspired. So I picked up a Joseph Campbell book and the next thing I knew I was brimming with energy, with pens and paper flying in all directions. And I wrote the sentence  “Trust what catches your souls attention”

Around that same time I came upon a story of Macha, a Celtic goddess. Every day after the chores were done, she would follow a footpath up and over the hills and turn into a horse and run with herd.

This cup combines two elements of that time when we are done with the to-do list (or haven’t started working on it yet!) and we have slipped into something of fur or feather, and we are roaming the lands of our soul. Inspired by the work of others- adding our bit to the great common wealth of being alive in a glorious way.

The Spark Cups are my painted poems upon a cup, with a bit of wonder and kindness stirred into the art for good measure.  Designed in my Washington State studio, made in Thailand in a facility meets European standards for people and planet. Holds 9 ounces.

The wares are food, microwave, and dishwasher safe, as well as family and café proven strong. Third party tested for food safety.

  • Size: Large (9 fl. oz.)
  • Measures diameter 3” height 3.5”
  • Art on all sides.
  • Comfortable to hold with a unique thumb divot.
  • Your hands deserve to be happy holding this cup!

Useful Care Instructions:

The bottom of the cups is porous and will absorb water during washing. It is best to make sure it can dry upside down completely before putting away, thus allowing all the water to evaporate from the cup to keep it in pristine condition.
