Logan Schneider
My name is Logan Arthur Forest Schneider, I am a glass artist based in Tacoma, Washington. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I draw inspiration from all of the nature and bodies of water that surround me. Working primarily with soft glass, I use traditional glass blowing techniques to bring my imagination to life. I love the fluidity and unpredictability of glass as a medium, and strive to create pieces that showcase different sides of its unique qualities. Growing up I moved around a lot of my life. I started blowing glass shortly after me and my family moved to Tacoma in 2009. The Hilltop Artist program inspired me and completely changed my life. The glass community helped me find what I love and what I am most passionate about. I started blowing glass in 6th grade. I was very lucky to have such good mentors along the way. It has been a good learning curve 13 years now off and on. I am constantly exploring new techniques and pushing the boundaries and possibilities with glass. My art reflects the beautiful people and amazing places I have seen along the way glass brings people together. Tacoma is home, a city of vibrant creativity and endless inspiration.
